What is NEWSTART Global?

NEWSTART Global is designed to educate, inspire, and equip local churches, as well as schools and health organizations around the world to conduct health evangelism simply and effectively. Through a multiphase plan that closely tracks Ellen White’s counsel, local churches can effectively use health outreach as the “entering wedge” of the gospel. NEWSTART Global provides the necessary materials, systems, training, and medical missionaries to help organizations become centers of influence.

Features of NEWSTART Global include onsite work by teams of health evangelism specialists, complete training and materials for local churches, detailed community health surveys and studies with reports, exclusive online tools and resources, a turnkey public health outreach event, and permanent professional support by Weimar medical missionaries. In addition, NEWSTART Global seamlessly integrates with various gospel evangelism programs like the Amazing Facts AFCOE program.

NEWSTART Global is empowered by Weimar's Health Evangelism And Leadership Training for Him (HEALTH), a training course designed to produce effective health evangelism leaders. This program provides comprehensive education in natural remedies, vegan cooking, health outreach, and leadership.

How It Works

1. NEWSTART Global enables churches to experience health evangelism by conducting a complete health evangelism cycle using the following tools:

3. Develop a local NEWSTART clinic and/or health food store to better meet the needs of more community members. Services offered may include:

   • Seminar Presentations

4. Several churches in a city or region cooperate to form or support an existing rural outpost lifestyle center and training school according to the counsel of Ellen White. This acts as a treatment center for the more seriously ill and provides trained workers and resources for the city ministries.
